Financial Policy: Payment & Insurance As a courtesy to our patients, our office will submit your dental insurance claims. Payment is required at the time of service for the portion not covered by insurance. This can range from 0-100% depending on your insurance policy.

Many insurance companies reimburse professional fees on a complicated fee-averaging basis. These systems average fees over wide geographic areas and fail to take into consideration the location, training, and experience of your doctor. Many employers also purchase a lower level of reimbursement for their employees in an attempt to keep costs down. Because of this, our fees may be above or below the "usual and customary" fee provided to you by your insurance company. This may have an effect on the amount of co-payment you will be obligated to pay. This sounds confusing because it is confusing. However, our staff is very experienced with insurance matters and can answer any question you may have.
