Bowser Center for Advanced Dentistry

The Bowser name has been synonymous with quality dentistry in York, PA since 1924. The Bowser Center for Advanced Dentistry continues the tradition of offering quality dentistry in a comfortable setting with the latest technology available and a competent, caring staff.

The mission of the practice is to provide our patients with the finest dental care and education in order to aid in their achievement of a state of excellent oral health, thereby enhancing patient self-esteem and enjoyment of life.

Dr. Carl E. Bowser Dr. Carl Bowser was born and raised in York, the son and grandson of York dentists. He earned his BS from Juniata College with a major in biology. He chose to pursue his doctorate in dentistry from UNC in Chapel Hill. He graduated with his DDS in 1981 and started his practice in York with his father in the building his grandfather built for his dental practice. In 1992 he opened his office at the present location 2161 East Market Street. Dr. Bowser is a member of the York County Dental Society (president 1992), the Pennsylvania Dental Association, the American Dental Association, and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. Married since 1977, his wife Mimi works with him at the office.

Dr. Brian E. Bowser Dr. Brian Bowser is a 4th generation Bowser dentist. He earned his BS in physics from Bucknell University in 2002 and will graduate with his DMD from the Temple School of Dentistry in May 2007. He is happy to be returning to the town where he was
