Capital City Endodontics

Since 1994, Capital Area Endodontics has provided the Austin community with highly specialized Endodontic (Root Canal) Therapy. As the root canal experts of modern dentistry, Endodontists have an advanced understanding of the physical and psychological obstacles that patients often face during treatment. Through ongoing education and an added measure of chair side compassion, Dr. Smith and his caring, professional staff have succeeded in taking the bite out of this often-feared procedure.

After receiving both Bachelors and Masters degrees at Texas A&M, Dr. Smith attended the University of Texas Dental School at San Antonio. Following his graduation in 1984, Dr. Smith proudly served in the Air Force for the next decade. In 1985, he completed his General Practice Residency at Davis Monthan Air Force Base. Determined to provide the type of specialized treatment his patients needed, Dr. Smith began Endodontic Training at San Antonio s Wilford Hall Medical Center in 1990. Since completing his advanced training in 1992, he has continued to research and implement improvements in clinical procedure. Thousands of patients have sought and found relief under his care.
