Our practice philosophy is to provide dentistry in a relaxed and comfortable setting and to be minimally invasive as possible. With our expectations that we will live our lives longer, fuller and productive lives we expect that we will maintain our teeth into our mature years. Having a less invasive our approach, helps forestall that aging process that can happen when dentistry is not performed to its highest level and we ignore the long-range effects of being too aggressive in dealing with dental diseases. For example, removing a tooth that can be saved by performing root canal treatment. Maintaining the tooth gives the mouth a better chance of long-term survival as opposed of removing a tooth unnecessarily. Premature tooth loss is catastrophic to the balance of what needs to be in place for the stability of our dentition. Avoiding premature tooth loss and maintaining our teeth in a strong and healthy environment (periodontally) is our ultimate goal.
